What is Converting?
The printing, signage, and retail industries often need materials and media with specific size or dimension requirements. This bulk material is typically manufactured in master rolls or sheets too large for most printers and sign shops to effectively use in their equipment. XCEL's converting and manufacturing bridges the gap between bulk material manufacturers and our end users by converting master rolls or bulk material to specific usable sized rolls or sheets, maximizing efficiency by reducing change-outs and optimizing yield, resulting in increased profits.

What we offer?
Our 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility houses nearly a dozen different pieces of converting equipment which includes sheeters, slitters, laminators, and power cutters. Manufacturing and converting a wide variety of substrates, XCEL focuses on execution and quality. Once converted, we package the finished materials for safe delivery using best practices such as protective wrapping, pallet banding, and edge protectors to ensure orders are received undamaged and ready for production.

Our Custom Converting Capabilities Include:
- Converting master rolls to smaller rolls
- High-speed, tight-tolerance sheeting up to 59.5″ wide x 81" long (for litho/offset printing)
- Custom length sheeting up to 80” wide x 144"+ long (for wide-format printing)
- High-tolerance slitting capabilities from 4″ to 62″ wide
- Re-rolling of materials up to 62″ wide with a 30” Outside Diameter
- Static cling manufacturing up to 54″ wide
- Guillotine cutting (power cutting) up to 87″ wide by 101″ deep
